3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for:

  • Creating and maintaining your account
  • Providing and improving our services
  • Processing payments and transactions
  • Sending service-related announcements and updates
  • Responding to your inquiries and support requests
  • Analyzing usage patterns and improving user experience
  • Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud or security issues

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data in these cases:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who process data on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payments, authentication)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In the event of merger, acquisition, or asset sale

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, remember your preferences, and analyze site usage. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access to your personal data
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion or erasure of your data
  • Restriction of data processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdrawal of consent
  • Opt-out of marketing communications

To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address provided in the Contact section.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

You can download or permanently delete everything we hold, yourself, at any time, from Account → Your data. No email, no waiting on us.

What deletion actually deletes. Your résumé and every revision, work history, education, skills, projects, awards, memberships, opportunities, quarterly achievements, interview answers, reference notes, schedule and appointments, community posts and comments, analytics we recorded about your use of the site, and your hosted résumé site — its public links stop working immediately, not eventually. Your login is deleted last, once all of the above is gone.

What we keep, and why. Purchases, orders and invoices. We are required to keep financial records, so we do — and we would rather tell you that here than have you discover it. They are included in your data export, so you always have a copy. Nothing in them is used for anything once your account is gone.

If you have an active subscription, we will refuse to delete your account until you cancel it. We are not going to delete an account we are still charging, and we are not going to cancel your subscription behind your back either — that is your decision to make and to see.

9. Children's Privacy

Bridani is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your home country. By using Bridani, you consent to such transfers.

12. CCPA and GDPR Compliance

California Residents (CCPA): You have specific rights regarding your personal information. For more details, please contact us.

EU Residents (GDPR): We comply with GDPR requirements for data protection, including lawful basis for processing and your rights as a data subject.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted, and we will notify you of significant changes via email or through our website. Your continued use of Bridani after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
